Learning Experience Overview
Artificial intelligence can create lesson materials, explanations, assessments, communications, activities, and other educational content in seconds. However, polished AI-generated content is not necessarily accurate, appropriate, unbiased, accessible, or ready for students.
In this one-hour professional development course, educators become AI Content Detectives as they practice evaluating AI-generated classroom materials before using them with students. Participants learn to identify factual errors and unsupported claims, recognize potential bias and accessibility concerns, protect student privacy, evaluate instructional alignment, and determine when AI-generated content should be used, revised, verified, or rejected.
Throughout the course, participants apply the AISEE Framework, a practical five-part process for evaluating AI-generated educational content:
